Hey everybody it has been a crazy few weeks travelling back to the UK from Washington where I played in the AT&T National hosted by Tiger Woods. It is the first time in a long time where I felt I played well and was also nearly being back to my best. Hit the ball really well on Thursday and began to make some putts during the week, my short game also began to pick up a little which really helped to keep my momentum for my rounds going. Three rounds in the 60’s was a nice assistance and puts me on a good platform going into the Open. After travelling home, dealing with Jet lag and picking up a cold it was time to host The Justin Rose Tradition Charity Golf Day in aid of Cancer Research UK which me and my team have been working really hard on to ensure our guests had a great day. I was blown away by the support from all our sponsors and guests, everyone one was amazingly generous and thanks to them we raised a mind blowing £176,000 - this exceeded all expectations and the money raised will be put to good use in areas of leukaemia and breast cancer research, which I am sure that you are aware my dad Ken and Kate’s mum passed away from.

I am going to head to Ireland for a week end of links golf before the Open. I am really excited about playing some links golf again and feel that I am going into the Open under the radar in terms of expectation but feel confident my game is in good shape and looking forward to building on the good feeling I have got right now. Hopefully I am able to fly the flag up in Scotland and give you all some exciting golf to watch. Thanks again for all of your support and comments through the website, Justin.
