I think it's time for an update! The reason I haven't been in touch is simple. My mind has been so far removed from golf! It's been great! I haven't had the Golf Channel on, haven't looked at the world rankings, money lists etc! I've even been quiet on twitter! I've been enjoying some family time. It's been an exciting time for me. 10 members of the family descended on us for Christmas and to meet our little daughter who was born on New Years Day! That has been amazing. Kate and Charlotte are doing well. I feel so lucky to have a boy and a girl. The birth of Charlotte has also been an eye opener to see and appreciate everything Leo has learned. He was the baby of the house and it's easy to always focus on what he still has to learn but having the baby has shown me how much he has already achieved. I'm really enjoying having 2 kids. It's been a real privilege to have the time to enjoy the birth of Charlotte and not have to rush off to work. That happened last time with Leo.
Saying that, it's now been 7 weeks off and with me leaving for San Diego next week for the Farmers Insurance Open I've realized how much I'm beginning to miss competing and how refreshed I feel. It's great to feel that way heading into the year. I'm excited about the year ahead and I feel my game has held up really well over the off season and I'm clear on what needed improving. Hopefully the areas I've been focussing on will pay off!
Once again, thanks for all your guys support and I look forward to being able to share some exciting moments on the golf course with you.
