30TH September 2011

Hi guys,

Just finding my feet back home in Florida. It's been a long 5 and a half weeks on the road but also an exciting one! Sorry for the delay in updating you guys.

The five fun weeks of golf consisted of the FedEX cup Playoffs and also an event I play with my buddies called the JR Challenge. This is with my oldest mates that I've known since I was 10 years old. That boys week was in the middle of the FedEx cup run and a weeks golf in Long Island, NY proved to be just the right combination of golf and R&R for me to come out and play well in Chicago and get a win just in the nick of time at the end of my PGA Tour season.

That win was so much fun. I won wire to wire for the first time on the PGA Tour and that was a nice hurdle to get over. I felt really in control of the game all week in Chicago but that was not to say it felt easy! The last 10 holes on Sunday were a challenge. I really struggled when the rain started coming down heavily and I lost a little rhythm. I also made a couple poor decisions on the par 5's coming in but my short game and nerve were up to the task and it was nice to finish with a little style by chipping in on 17 and making 2 great swings at the last. Winning the BMW Champs was great and it is a tournament formerly known as the Western Open which has an amazing history and a great list of champions so it was a honour to get my name on that piece of silverware. I feel proud of the quality of the 3 events I've managed to win on the PGA Tour. All good fields and on tough courses. I hope to grow that confidence and take a run at a few majors next year. This year again, when I look back, the majors will be an area of "can do better"

The rest of the year my focus switches to the race to Dubai. I need to play 4 more events in Europe to fulfill my membership. I'm excited to travel a little and keep earning Ryder Cup points!

Thanks for all the support,

Justin
