History
The Ken Rose Foundation was founded in 2002 after
Ken Rose sadly died after a two year battle with Leukaemia.
Since then the foundation has raised over £120,000.
The first Justin Rose Golf Day in aid of the Ken Rose
Foundation was held in 2003 at Wentworth Golf Club.
It was a fantastic day and thanks to all those who
were involved we raised £80,000.
All the money raised went to the Haematology Department
of the North Hampshire Hospital, who worked tirelessly
in treating Ken and offered such tremendous support
to the Rose family. The aim was to create a new unit
that include a relatives room, to give as much comfort
to patients and their families whilst they are undergoing
often prolonged and difficult treatment
We have since held the Ken Rose Foundation Fashion
Show. This was a glittering evening, showcasing beautiful
designs by Paul Costelloe and Asprey of London. Guests
were also treated to a glimpse of Ian Poulter strutting
down the catwalk in nothing but a short black coat
and a diamond necklace! We were delighted to raise
£40,000 at this event.
Congratulations and thank you to Gordon Phillips,
Captain of Foxhills Golf Club, for raising £32,000
for the Ken Rose Foundation over the past year. We
were delighted to be nominated by Gordon and thrilled
that he smashed the record amount raised by any captain
at Foxhills before. Well done Gordon!
